My journey: from wanting to function to genuine self-awareness.
I chose the path many avoid: an honest retreat. After my first attempts with real capital, I had to admit that I understood the charts — but not yet my own psychology. I watched my risk management collapse under the pressure of my emotions.
So I stopped trading actively and began treating trading psychology and process stability as a real craft. I spent hundreds of hours researching, reading specialist literature, and trying to decode the mechanics behind human decisions. Even in that phase of reflection, the path wasn't linear: I lost myself for a while in heavy over-analysis, trying to "perfect" my setup down to the smallest detail in order to defeat the market's uncertainty. Only when I let go of that need for control did the picture become clear.
The observation: a community stuck in an endless loop.
Through my research and conversations within the community, I kept running into a painful truth: many traders spin in circles for years. I saw countless posts and analyses from traders who lamented their losses but never recognized the deeper underlying error. Surface-level reasons were often blamed, while the real problem — the lack of psychological process stability — remained completely in the dark. That's how so many stay trapped in an endless downward spiral without ever touching the core of their failure.
